Terms of Service

Last updated: June 27, 2026

1. The Seller

Qanuni AI ("Qanuni", "we", "us", "our") is operated by Plany plus Events Organization & Management (the "Seller"). By accessing or using Qanuni AI, you are entering into a binding agreement with the Seller.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or continuing to use the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you are using the service on behalf of an organization, you confirm that you have authority to bind that organization. If you are using the service as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age in your jurisdiction.

3. The Service

Qanuni AI is an AI-powered legal assistant providing legal information, document analysis, contract and letter generation, and law search focused on the United Arab Emirates. The service does not constitute legal advice and does not replace a licensed lawyer. Outputs may contain inaccuracies and must be reviewed before use.

4. Acceptable Use

You must not misuse the service. You agree not to:

  • Use the service for any unlawful, fraudulent, or harmful purpose;
  • Generate content that is illegal, defamatory, hateful, or infringes any third-party rights;
  • Attempt to jailbreak, reverse-engineer, scrape, or probe the service for vulnerabilities;
  • Use outputs to impersonate a licensed lawyer or to mislead any court or authority;
  • Upload malware, spam, or content you do not have the right to process.

You are solely responsible for the prompts you submit, the outputs you use, and verifying their accuracy. You must have the necessary rights to any content you upload (including contracts and documents).

5. Intellectual Property

The Seller retains all rights, title, and interest in and to the service, including its software, models, prompts, design, branding, and documentation. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to access and use the service within your subscription plan. You may not resell, redistribute, or circumvent technical limits of the service.

As between you and the Seller, you retain ownership of the content you submit and the outputs generated from it, subject to the limited license you grant the Seller to host and process that content solely to provide the service.

If you believe content on the service infringes your rights, contact us so we can investigate and, where appropriate, remove the content and act against repeat infringers.

6. AI Outputs and Accuracy

Qanuni AI uses generative AI. Outputs may be incomplete, outdated, or incorrect, and must not be relied upon as professional legal, financial, or regulated advice without independent review by a qualified professional. The Seller may filter, refuse, or moderate outputs at its discretion.

7. Payments, Subscriptions and Taxes

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms in addition to these Terms.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until canceled. You may cancel at any time from your billing page; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Credit packs are non-refundable once consumed.

8. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and keep it up to date.

9. Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the service, in whole or in part, for: material breach of these Terms, non-payment, suspected fraud or security risk, or repeated or serious violations of our acceptable-use rules. On termination, your right to use the service ends; we may delete account content after a reasonable period.

10. Warranties and Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied (including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement). We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Seller's aggregate liability arising out of or related to the service will not exceed the fees you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. The Seller will not be liable for indirect, consequential, special, incidental, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law.

11. Indemnity

You will indemnify and hold the Seller harmless against claims arising from your content, your use of outputs, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

12. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. The courts of the United Arab Emirates have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes arising from or related to these Terms, except where mandatory consumer law provides otherwise.

13. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
